H380™ was an unnamed spherical rifle propellant when the late Bruce Hodgdon first used it. When a 38.0 grain charge behind a 52 grain bullet gave one hole groups from his 22 caliber wildcat (now called the 22-250), he appropriately named the powder H380. This Hodgdon H380 smokeless powder for sale is also a superb performer in the 220 Swift, 243, 257 Roberts and other fine varmint cartridges. Grain shape is hollow ball.

I load 150 grain bullets in my 308 and get great results from this powder. It’s clean burning and easy to load.

I buy this powder for a 22-250. I believe this was designed for the 22-250 cartridge. It is called 380 for the powder load of 38.0 grains. I actually use a charge of 37.3 grains with a 55 grain bullet. Works well for me!
